Need a book or journal article that our library doesn't have?

Interlibrary Loan is a service that enables the staff at our library the ability to request materials from other libraries. This includes both physical items like books, or articles from journals we do not own. We can borrow items from other local libraries, or a library several states away.

*Interlibrary Loan is available for current LPTS students, staff, and faculty only.

Kentuckiana Metroversity is a local consortium that allows LPTS students and faculty privileges to borrow from more than four million volumes, housed in libraries throughout the Louisville area. These include: Bellarmine University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, University of Louisville, Jefferson Community and Technical Colleges, Louisville Free Public Library, Spalding University, Indiana University Southeast at New Albany, Ivy Technical College and of course, LPTS.

  • Louisville Seminary students, faculty, and staff may use the reference services and borrow books from any of these libraries by showing their LPTS card. Contact these libraries before arrival to ensure that you have the proper credentials and know their specific procedures.

  • Please make sure your LPTS ID is current by checking the validation sticker on the front of your card. If it is outdated and you need it validated, please drop by when the library is open. If you need to replace your LPTS ID, email  info@lpts.edu to obtain a new one, then drop by the library for validation.
